BUTTO Privacy Policy

initl ("we") provides the BUTTO app ("the app"). We care about your privacy.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. The app has no sign-up or login, and we do not operate any server for it. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies.

2. Information stored on your device

The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:

• Nickname
• Profile photo (only if you choose one)
• App settings such as language and sound

Deleting the app deletes this information.

3. Information exchanged with nearby devices

BUTTO connects nearby iPhones directly, without the internet. When you create or join a room, the following is sent directly to the nearby devices in the same room:

• Nickname and profile photo
• Waiting-room chat messages
• Information needed to play the game

This information travels only between devices, does not pass through any server of ours, and is neither collected nor stored by us. Other players in the same room can see it, so we recommend not entering personally identifying information in your nickname or chat.

4. Permissions the app requests

• Local Network: used only to find and connect to nearby devices.
• Photo Library: used only when you pick a photo for your profile; only the one photo you choose is saved in the app.

You can change these permissions at any time in the Settings app.

5. Sharing with third parties

Because we do not collect your information, we do not share it with third parties.

6. Children

The app does not ask for your age and does not collect children's personal information.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the changes and the effective date on this page.
